Charging networks and their prices
Most networks now set a price for each site and show it in their app before you plug in. Where a network publishes one price list, we show it. Where drivers have recently reported a site's price, we show that with its date.

About the data
Where it comes from
- Charger locations: Transport for NSW (CC BY 3.0 AU), ACT Government (CC BY 4.0) and the Victorian Government's funded chargers (CC BY 4.0); every state from Open Charge Map contributors (CC BY 4.0). Where two lists show the same charger, it appears once.
- Network prices: taken from the network's own published price list, with the date we checked it.
- Site prices: reported by drivers on Open Charge Map, shown with the date a driver last confirmed them.
How we show prices
- Prices are in dollars per kWh.
- A pin shows a price only when the network publishes it, or drivers confirmed it in the last 18 months. Otherwise the pin shows the charger's speed, and the card says where to see the price.
- "Free" is shown only when drivers confirmed it in the last 12 months. Many chargers that used to be free (NRMA, early Chargefox and Ampol sites) now charge.
- Pin borders show speed: purple 150 kW and up, green 50 kW and up, blue slower or not listed.
- Always check the price in the network's app or on the charger screen before you charge.
- Brand names and logos belong to their owners. They are shown only to identify each charger's network.
